The Gopher Canyon Flying Site was approved for R/C Aircraft after extensive testing and negotiations with neighbors of the field.

Sound levels are governed by how people perceive the sound, not necessarily by a measured value. The values that are currently in use at the Gopher Canyon Flying Site are guidelines that may be changed as we learn how better to represent what the human ear perceives, specifically, what people within hearing distance are comfortable with.

Accordingly, I will not knowingly violate existing operational rules and will work to improve the state of the art of sound control.  Further, I will work to maintain and improve relations with our neighbors.  I acknowledge that to do otherwise will jeopardize continued use of the Gopher Canyon Flying Site.
